Our Vision: We strive to be the premier leadership organization for girls and experts on their growth and development.
The Girl Scout Leadership Experience: We have identified three keys to leadership.
History: Girl Scouts was founded on March 12, 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low. We are the largest girl-serving organization in the United States and the largest member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, a sisterhood of close to 10 million girls and adults in 145 countries.
How to join: Girl Scouts is about sharing the fun, friendship, and power of girls and women together. Any girl from kindergarten through 12th grade can join Girl Scouts. Membership fee is $15 per year. You can participate in a troop, sign up for a travel destination, attend a series or event, or enjoy one of our many GS camps. We are always looking for Adults who want to start a new troop. Training and support available.
